Reblog: My Birthday Tribute: Poe

As I left for work today, a murder of crows descended over the rooftops of the houses in my row. An unusual site, usually the most crows I see together in my ‘hood is 3. I smiled at their sleek beauty and grace. I love crows (and most birds, for that matter). Not quite Ravens, but a close cousin and when I saw this post, I immediately thought about my day’s start.

Please see this tribute to Poe on his birthday! Beautiful and inspiring quotes. Can’t wait to read the Telltale Heart tonight and some of his poetry.

Without further ado:

Hauntingly. Mysterious. Beautiful.

    1. Yes, I have heard how they can recognize faces of humans and signal danger if those humans are associated with bad deeds to them… They are also magical and mystical creatures. Usually good signs for those who know how to see =)
