My Day Couldn’t Get Eddie Vedder Than This!

Early this morning, I received a message from a friend who knows I am a HUGE Pearl Jam Fan. Turns out that this band, who I’ve followed for their 20+ year career is going to be within 30 minutes of MY house in the Spring of 2016!!!

Dreams of Eddie Vedder are reborn (though he’s really too short for me at 5’7″, too bad…). I appreciate poets and men who can cry openly. (Yes, I’m a sucker…I won’t say of what).

The only thing that might keep me away from seeing them live would be if Maynard James Keenan (also sadly 5’7″) were to be playing in any of his bands nearby of A Perfect Circle, Tool or Puscifier.  There would be considerable internal conflict, too.

Yes, I have a height “thing.” Don’t judge me for it.

Regarding being a Pearl Jam Fan, Black is one of my favorite all time songs (Eddie, this is my request…). And really, what man loving woman can resist the band whose name refers to the by-products of a male orgasm (ie cum)? [naughty smile, and my next thought has been edited]

Writing out my thoughts has helped me to gain a new perspective of myself. In sharing these writings, it is my hope to help others to better understand themselves. It is my belief that with each of us who chooses this path of greater understanding of thy self, that it inspires others to do the same. This building momentum is the force that drives me to share, for in my vulnerability, I find my strength. I believe that you can also find yours there. ~~~In reading some of my posts, you will see that growth is not always pretty. It is in breaking apart and coming undone that a seed sprouts and breaks free of its own captivity. It is also out of mud that the lotus blossoms. ~~~Please join me in seeing the beauty of growth within the deconstruction of our limiting beliefs. ~~T.C.

    1. I know, right?! This is the closest they’ve been in a long while…Actually, I saw them at an open venue years ago. There was a beautiful half moon low in the sky that Eddie got to zone on while they performed. I think the moon (and no, not me) was a performance enhancer that evening!
