Hills Like White Elephants

The One I erased, never seeing your face
Continues to haunt me, to this very day.
A difficult decision, so much disgrace
For your forgiveness and compassion I pray.
Once very lost, now finding pieces of Grace
Imagining you there next to them at play.
It must be hard to see your siblings living
Held to the breast, lovingly and still breathing.

  1. One step closer to freedom of the shadows Tiffany. I imagine this pain, shame, and feelings of guilt leaving you like a helium balloon. It floats out and then up and away. Very inspiring of you to be open and vulnerable about these hard dark secrets. Always here for you. 💕
