The One I erased, never seeing your face
Continues to haunt me, to this very day.
A difficult decision, so much disgrace
For your forgiveness and compassion I pray.
Once very lost, now finding pieces of Grace
Imagining you there next to them at play.
It must be hard to see your siblings living
Held to the breast, lovingly and still breathing.

Writing out my thoughts has helped me to gain a new perspective of myself. In sharing these writings, it is my hope to help others to better understand themselves. It is my belief that with each of us who chooses this path of greater understanding of thy self, that it inspires others to do the same. This building momentum is the force that drives me to share, for in my vulnerability, I find my strength. I believe that you can also find yours there.
~~~In reading some of my posts, you will see that growth is not always pretty. It is in breaking apart and coming undone that a seed sprouts and breaks free of its own captivity. It is also out of mud that the lotus blossoms. ~~~Please join me in seeing the beauty of growth within the deconstruction of our limiting beliefs. ~~T.C.
Thank you, BBD, I agree. It’s a tough one to admit to, having kept it hidden for so very, very long. =(
Thank you, Laura! You definitely inspired me to speak out about this. A very tough subject. Thank you for being my muse. I never forgot Hemingway’s short story and it opened right up to that page when I picked up my literature 500 page book. Thank you, Laura, for your support and appreciating my words. Much love! I learned a long time ago: things hidden inside would end up being used against me by darkness, so I became an open book! I was telling my 23 year old daughter about you, earlier this week and again today. 🙂
One step closer to freedom of the shadows Tiffany. I imagine this pain, shame, and feelings of guilt leaving you like a helium balloon. It floats out and then up and away. Very inspiring of you to be open and vulnerable about these hard dark secrets. Always here for you. 💕
