If he’s amazing, he won’t be easy.
If he’s easy, he won’t be amazing.
If he’s worth it, you won’t give up.
If you give up, you’re not worthy…
Truth is, everybody is going to hurt you
[even you will hurt yourself]:
you just gotta find the ones worth suffering for.

So often in dating and meeting others,
we focus on the good things that attract us to one another,
when in the romantic phase of love.
To achieve consummate love
we must ask ourselves,
is this person worth suffering for?
can I love myself enough to love this person?
Because when the other person shows us our crap,
and they will, it is their job to show us where we suffer;
mirroring for us our own wounded selves
do we stay? Do we run?
If we stay, can we keep our hearts open for them; ourselves? Or do we instead close down in self-protection?
If we run, or if we push the other away in fear,
how long do we then suffer our regrets?
So the ultimate questions for me are:
Does your crazy match my crazy?
Are you worth suffering for?
Am I worthy enough in
myself to allow me
to suffer for you?
Because no one is
feeling uninspired, i was starting to delete old images from my computer, because they are accumulating! this quote was next on the firing block, yet it spurred its own fire. xoxo
