The very thing I want scares me.
So often in dating and meeting others,
we focus on the good things that attract us to one another,
when in the romantic phase of love.
To achieve consummate love
we must ask ourselves,
is this person worth suffering for?
can I love myself enough to love this person?
Because when the other person shows us our crap,
and they will, it is their job to show us where we suffer;
mirroring for us our own wounded selves
do we stay? Do we run?
If we stay, can we keep our hearts open for them; ourselves? Or do we instead close down in self-protection?
If we run, or if we push the other away in fear,
how long do we then suffer our regrets?
So the ultimate questions for me are:
Does your crazy match my crazy?
Are you worth suffering for?
Am I worthy enough in
myself to allow me
to suffer for you?
Because no one is
perfect. None!

Tiffany! THIS is why I love you! Its in this space where we share thoughts and feelings that circulate between us like we each share half of the other’s brain and heart! If you were a man I think you would be my twin flame. I guess I’ll just settle for Anam Cara! We each need to live by these words and questions. Continually asking and seeking. You are worthy enough and so am I. And any hurts you feel by releasing your whole self may they remind you that the highs of a true bond of love and happiness are worthy of those hurts.
