It was her time.
She had for so long lingered.
DNR signed, sealed & delivered.
Extubated, all cords severed.
No more for her
Feeding off of the joy of pain.
Black holed heart.
A star folds in upon itself
Tentacles extending,
seeking feeding
off the joy of pain.
Her body buried
without fanfare.
No more cross to bare.
No funeral pyre for her.
This would just revive
the life of death.
Goodbye, Lilith.
Until the next corkscrew.
I bid you, Adieu!

Author’s Note: The featured image was in the position of Lilith using the Will Attunement Spread with the Night Sun Tarot deck. While ninefolddragon described the image to me, I immediately knew it was referring to the martyr within. She has been blocking my forward momentum. I’m sure more of my reading will come to light in the next week or so.

  1. Intense poem, sad.
Congratulations on being Danny Ray’s featured blogger. I was his featured blogger too. Maybe you can check out my blog if you need a blogging tip or two. That’s what I write about.
