barefoot
short skirt
tank top on
doors off topless Jeep
hem flapping in the breeze
hot sun smiling down on me
F18s flying overhead; a Maverick moment complete
feeling the heat waves rising off the street
anything less would be a compromise; instead I’m replete
breathing through the vulnerability of being so open

Writing out my thoughts has helped me to gain a new perspective of myself. In sharing these writings, it is my hope to help others to better understand themselves. It is my belief that with each of us who chooses this path of greater understanding of thy self, that it inspires others to do the same. This building momentum is the force that drives me to share, for in my vulnerability, I find my strength. I believe that you can also find yours there.
~~~In reading some of my posts, you will see that growth is not always pretty. It is in breaking apart and coming undone that a seed sprouts and breaks free of its own captivity. It is also out of mud that the lotus blossoms. ~~~Please join me in seeing the beauty of growth within the deconstruction of our limiting beliefs. ~~T.C.
Thank you, Casey! I figured out this morning that having my Jeep and finding my tribe here make VB a desirable place for me to live. The weather here lends itself to having an open Jeep more than colder or hotter climes. Other than my growing perspective changes, don’t know else what would make me love it here now. I’ll keep you posted if I uncover more 😬
Have a great day!
Yes, join me! I’d love to have you over. This town would never be the same! ❤️ When was the last time you went to the beach? We could drive my jeep on it (after a 2 hour drive down to OBX). Retirement vaca?
