Tiffany’s interest since the birth of this blog in April 2015 has been to share her growing understanding of how to use emotional trials for personal growth. Instead of shrinking during the transition from marriage to single parenthood, Tiffany chose to give voice to her trials and share her emotional struggles and triumphs while she blossomed. Since the beginning, it has been Tiffany’s hope to share her unfolding in a way that helps us all to unlock each of our own individual mysteries.
With each person’s light that is lit,
we all begin to see more clearly.
~Tiffany C.
The Sanskrit mantra Lokah Samastha Sukhino Bhavantu captures the essence of Tiffany’s wish for what she’s sharing with this blog: May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to happiness and to freedom for all.
“This I know…”
Tiffany C.Cycles end, cycles begin.
As sure as the arc of the pendulum drops
It rises up again.
When it swings wildly to and fro
There will be a calm to follow,
The struggles we face today,
give us our strength for the morrow.
Yes, this I know. For in life there is balance.
It cannot all be high
It cannot all be low.
This I know.I share my lessons to gain
A higher perspective,
To process the message
And more to share the method
of what helped to move beyond the mundane
To see the light once again
through the rain, the pain.Cycles end, cycles begin.
As sure as the arc of the pendulum drops
It rises up again.
When it swings wildly to and fro
There will be a calm to follow,
The struggles we face today,
give us our strength for the morrow.
Yes, this I know.
Namaste
What a wonderfully motivating and varied site – many congratulations. Can I ask what the intriguing green emblem / symbol is? Kindest wishes, K.

This is the symbol of the heart chakra. Chakra is Sanskrit for energy wheel. So the symbol carries and represents the energy of the heart.
Thank you for your kind words!

Thanks. Does it have Hindu or Buddhist roots? It made me think of mandalas which are very interesting (or became so to me, at least, after reading Jung’s take on them). Best wishes, K.

You’re welcome! In looking further, I can comment and like from the website, just not from the WordPress reader. (I can comment and like the posts of other bloggers from the WordPress reader). Not sure what would change that for you.

The earliest physical evidence of chakras were found in Vedic writings. This culture was based in India.
Yoga brought forward the concept to a world wide level.
Thank you for your interest!

Hey there, thank you for writing about so many interesting topics. Hard to keep up with reading many posts from, while life goes on and other things keep me busy.
But I’m really interested in the wisdom you gathered, I’m hope you’re sharing more with us. 🙂

Didn’t feel right to not leave a comment on the “About” Section. Who would not want to appreciate this sweet person on a page she describes about herself. Your kids will grow up to be great human beings and that I believe is the epitome of life.
Good luck and Godspeed my friend,
BP

BP, Thank you! I should hope it were so. Can be a challenge with parenting; there are so many thin red lines. I appreciate your support and sharing of beautifuly words.

Of course. Parenting teaches you patience like nothing else possibly could. If you are a good parent, you cannot be a bad person by any measure of the word.

Good seems relative. Yes, patience is absolutely required, as is creativity. Thank you!

True. By the way, children never appreciate their parents, until they are parents themselves. So do not let the kids tell you otherwise. You are a good mum and I trust that!
I am single and probably younger than you, so don’t take my word for it, if you do not wish to. But I have seen enough around me to form my thoughts. So you better believe me when I say I trust you to be a good mum. 🙂

BP, thank you! I will do my best to keep this is mind. It’s true that I appreciate my parents more now that I am one myself.

Here is my website if you want to check that out as well.
It is a totally separate animal as I don’t like my private life to melt into my business life to the extend that I expose myself on my blog.

One more thing. I absolutely loooove your quote. Perfect. I had the “original” posted on my frig for a long time….””Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle” from a Japanese book rewording the Buddha’s words. Now maybe I’ll post yours on my frig. 🙂

Oh, my! I didn’t know about that quote… This was something that came into my mind when I was thinking about my blog and my purpose in life.
Interesting that when I was initiated as a Blessing Giver that our ability to help others and light more candles would grow exponentially. I had already coined the phrase above and I just realized that connection writing you now. Maybe I can find it in my archives.

My goodness, I love your blog. I found it when surfing a mutual WordPress site we both visit. (MrM) Your entries on mirror work bless me as this is something I’ve been working on for awhile in attempt to 1) increase self love, and 2) move toward being comfortable on camera and video.
Would you be at all comfortable interacting via email? I have something I’d prefer not to share on a public page. I admire your level of confident freedom and must admit I’m not quite there yet! No worries if you’d rather not do that.
Warmest regards. xoxo
