the sun rises another day
as does my energy
fortunately as
it’s a day of much needed work
with much packing & cleaning
hustling & bustling
i even wore my work shoes
… not too much time for play
yet for many it’s celebratory
the night ended with many a bangs
even with so much hustle & bustle
without
there is a newfound solace
within
that i have found in acceptance
of this piece of my life
that i had once so vehemently rejected
the overwhelm did sneak in briefly
no where near the level it had been
the day previously
on the rising currents i ride
at least
until the next turn of the spiral or tide
