settling back into myself, my home
new ways to live, new pathways
are unfolding within & without
old neural pathways are disrupted
even when far easier to follow out of habit

there is a novelty & lightness to
creating new pathways, new habits
in the mental & the physical & thus the spiritual
letting go of the old
at times easier said than done
an uptick in caffeine intake during trying times
supports neural firing yet is not sustainable
i know the reversal will be somewhat painful
yet ultimately noble

breathing out, slowly
& deeply
~ completely letting go
breathing in, slowly
& completely (without hyperventilating)
~ bringing in the new
with each breath cycle,
we can choose to begin again
letting go, expiration, just as important
if not more than
the inspiration
endings
& beginnings yet again
allowing new pathways to unfold within
(& thus without)

  1. I have to give up my coffee, it keeps me in a constant off key. I gave it up for a few weeks and the first one I had after it really affected me. I think in constant use we don’t realize its affect. Might have to drink water…you know, that funny clear stuff 🤣❤️🙏

    1. Lol! Yes, I drink plenty of the funny clear stuff, too! And yes, I’ve noticed the coffee causes that off-keyness. Working it back down (again). ♥️😱🌀
