it feels like the mad scientist within
is emerging more & more with each
probiotic culture experiment performed

this week, we added 2 new strains
to the l. reuteri: l. gasseri & b. coagulans
these 3 strains combined are said to really
get that SIBO back in line

sadly, the first batch didn’t quite go as planned
whereas the first batch of l. reuteri was a grand slam
too many changes were attempted at once

this day, i discovered another, less expensive strain to obtain
that can also help promote more restful sleep
Lacticaseibacillus casei Shirota
i figure if i cannot pronounce it,
that it will do more good?!

this lovely strain can be found in a
probiotic drink called Yakult
found easily and least expensively
at the local grocery store!
the ferment is already underway

this week, i also collected the specific
ingredients to create some homemade kimchi
am looking forward to expanding the pre-
& probiotic repertoire soon to be in my belly

next week, on order, are water kefir grains
the beauty of such ferments, is that all i
really need to do is introduce to one another
the ingredients & the microbes go to town
