feeding the inner ecosystem
a greater depth of breath
a greater depth of life
regeneration & recovery
oh, L. reuteri

cultures set to half & half
an unlikely substrate
then fed prebiotic fibers
to support the creatures to procreate
poured lovingly into
petite glass yogurt containers
placed within the incubator
set to body-like temp

breeding beneficial
microorganisms
in my kitchen
to support
the microbiomes of many
this is so super exciting!

now just to wait for them
to breed & triple in populations
for a mere 36 hours!

until then, to imagine
what our lives together will become!

  1. I was amazed at how much difference our gut can make us during an illness. My illness appears to have no connection to it…but…my sensitivity from my allergic reaction tells me oh so differently. And one of the main connections has to do with inflammation, and I found a balanced gut is a balanced body. And then anything that does happen can be brought back into balance much quicker.
Great post dear lady, I think we just have to remove the constant barrage of chemicals and sugar, and then we will find those simple words again…’I feel great’ 😀❤️🙏

    1. yes! inflammation, i’m learning, can be significantly affected by our gut health – for better or for worse. glad to hear you’ve figured this out! it’s so very helpful. yes, sugar is so easy to eat, not so easy for our bodies, however. thank you, Mark!

  2. Interestingly, foods that include artificial sweeteners that have been promoted as part of healthy living, or at least weight loss, are bad for gut health.
