it is interesting to observe
that making yogurts from different
microorganisms has refueled my purpose
quite an unexpected side effect
last night, i went about preparing a new culture
& changing some of my storage techniques
by the time i was finished and sat down to write
i was tired – still able to write – but alas there
were the computer technical difficulties
so my entry from yesterday appears today
yet i don’t see it as a loss
something i would have felt in yesterdays prior
perhaps the refuel is also from giving back to myself
where most of my days are spent giving to others
sometimes at my own expense
for many years, i’ve been practicing many ways to refuel
this one is more tangible because i can see the actual changes
in the jars within 24 – 36 hours … as the yogurts culture & shift
to boot, these cultures have been giving me more energy
while the restful sleep is still hit or miss
the better digestion & return of a palate is quite a lovely benefit!
cheers to self-care (like you just don’t care)!
