there is a mystery
around the number 23
it shows up repeatedly
& well before this year began
even in a movie with Jim Carrey
unlike his character, my curiosity is just that
a curiosity
the 9th prime number
if i’m mathing & counting correctly
my brain says it’s still a bit early
some say it stands for synergy
which is how i feel when rising above
a duality; a mysterious experience of
shifting one’s paradigm from two seemingly separate
& opposite entities or concepts … when simultaneously held
& contemplated with a sense of peace
& curiosity, they magickally
& mysteriously become one
& together are better than either
separate piece standing on its own
there is a simple beauty for me
in the number 23
perhaps it is also the combination
of the first 2 prime numbers?
ultimately, it’s kinda hard to say
regardless, i encourage you to be curious
when you see the number 23 peering back
at you today …
