in feeling overwhelmed & calling on grace
there is a new sight & perspective
dare i say, a paradigm shift?
the emotional pain & anguish
are the death throes of the lies
the untruths we’d been believing
& carrying ’round with us for our lives
to fight the death of the illusions
is to bar their exit
& keep us from living & experiencing the truth
for under the light of grace
only the truth remains
with this, the sky opens
& the rains begin to fall
washing away the dirt & muck
from another day
so the work now is to welcome the
emotional pain & anguish
for to do so is to allow them to go
to go their own ways
to allow the river to wash them tf away …
