Unfiltered from the heart

there is a sacred space that can be challenging to find, much less enter into
where access is based on holding each end of a dichotomous pair without
attempting to change any bit of it
a paradoxical key & thus a barrier ~ an inhibition ~ for many

keeping space, being present & breathing into the seemingly separate pieces,
a new energy is borne of the union
after all batteries & magnets have opposing poles & dare i mention the unmentionables of male & female pairings?

perhaps this is what life is doing when it presents an opposition to new intentions
~ an opportunity & invitation for alchemy ~
yet consumed by the triggered fire,
we miss the offer to enter into this amazingly sacred space
